Jessica Kircher is a graduate from the Keiser University Lakeland Campus and earned her Associate of Science degree in Graphic Arts and Design in 2013. She is currently the Art Director at FusionZone Automotive and frequently comes to the Lakeland campus to serve as a guest speaker for the Graphics and Design department.
Please tell us about your situation when you first came to Keiser University?
I was young and ready to get started with Keiser University. I saw a graphic design commercial on tv so it ignited a fire in my mind rather quickly.
Please tell us about any instructors who may hold a special place in your educational history and how they helped to change your life.
Mrs. Percy and Mr. Williams believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them.
Please tell us about any instances you may have experienced where a Keiser University staff member helped you succeed or overcome an obstacle.
Mrs. Crawford helped me find a job before I even graduated. She was dedicated to my overall success. She helped with my resume and interview tactics.
How has Keiser University helped to change your life? What is new in your life that would not be there if it were not for your educational experience at Keiser University?
Keiser University introduced me to internships that I wouldn’t have found if I had gone somewhere else. I also found my first design job through Keiser.
Are you working in field? Tell us about your job search process.
Yes. I am the Art Director for FusionZONE Automotive. I’m in charge of 8 designers and the whole art department.
